What our tour is all about

On a daily basis when you take a tour with Down South Airboat Tours you will  encounter a captain that turns into family. Our captains want you to feel like family once you leave us. Our goal is to provied you with enough information about the Everglades that you go back home and can explain to your family and friends what you saw. 

We are by reservation only please call or e-mail us to book a tour. If you are booking a tour for the same day the fastest way to book is by phone. 

Itinerary

We offer two sets of times that our boats go out

Summer Times May-October

Monday - Saturday

8:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am, and a 1:30pm (morning tours are best in the summer)

Winter Times November-April

Monday - Saturday

8:30am, 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, and a 3:00pm (midday is best in the winter)

Times are subject to change due to the length of tour.

Down South Airboat Tours want to show you as much of the Everglades as we can. Depending on the length of your tour you will see the grasslands on all three different length of tours. On our two longer tours we will get you into the covered cypress. We want to show you as much WILDLIFE as we can but it is wild so we can not guarantee wildlife. We do not offer any zoo or holding of any animals. We love seeing all the wildlife in it's natural habitat.

Our tours will start at 209 N. Collier ave. Everglades city fl 34139 from here you will venture into the Everglades.
